A Fish Hospital!

I was utterly surprised when my friend Hena Kausar informed me about a Fish Hospital, one of its own kind in Chandernagore, West Bengal.

I started fancying about how things might be working out, there. How the fishes would be taken care of? There must be aquariums assigned as beds for the patients. Well!

Big question is who would take them there, if they were ill? It was a wonderful exercise and an ocassion of...ofcourse nice chit-chat between us. Definitely those who would accompany the ill fishes would be their owner, we concluded.

Chandernagore “Matsya Nilaya”,  is an Aquarium Fish Research & Development and Training Institute, established in 1998 .It is Bengal's First Fish Hospital which treats all types of aquarium fishes.

I like fishes and visiting  Aquaworld at Ranchi. There you can find good collection of aquarium fishes. On the teachers day; i.e.,  5th September my music guru was gifted with an aquarium, but unfortunately some of the fishes died within a week. This was a big disappointment for us, the students and our dear madam, Miss Mrinalini Akhouri.

Now when  you can have a hospital which takes good care of fish-pets and can treat them when they are ill, then you don't have to worry, as you can rush them there.

Question that is in my mind:-

#What animal rights do aquarium fishes have?

Please do think over.
